Send them with the US Postal Service for goodness sakes. I really don't need them sent via a big shipping company. Based on the size and weight it would most likely be less than $3 for First Class or worse case, Priority flat rate for under $5 I have to agree that the availablility of these things is a problem. The trouble I'm having is the fact that these places want to charge me $10+ to ship them.
Thank you Amazon. My family is a loyal fan of this particular coffee maker, however the filters are becoming more and more difficult to locate.
Product was new in box,and 1/2 the price in Bed Bath & Beyond, great deal for saving some $$.Don't pass this one bye.
This design will not let all the water be filtered though the filter but a small portion of it. I ended up buying a filter that fits on the faucet. I bought this Hamilton Beach 80674 water filter after reading the reviews and decided to give it a try. I can see why they designed it that way because the water itself is not fed into the coffee pot by pressure, but gravity fed. That make the big change I was looking for. The way it fits in my Hamilton Beach "Stay or Go" coffee pot. When I inserted the filter in the filter housing in the coffee pot, I noticed the filter itself does not fit all the way down in the filter housing, rather above it.
The filters are ridiculously expensive. The handle is too long so I removed the filters and put them in the original handle.
